Scrapbooking Premiere Update....

As you are all probably aware by now the forum and gallery are currently going through an upgrade. We apologise for any inconvience this may have caused.  We are also hoping this upgrade will eradicate the annoying SPAM problem once and for all.
The Store is also going electronic and we have been stocktaking and uploading all of our products to a electronic system. This process is proving to be very time consuming and we thank you for your patience during this busy period. Once this has all been completed it should make like a lot easier for everyone.

If you have missed uploading your competition or a sketch challenge before the 30th of November due to the forum and Gallery being down, can you please email them directly to admin@scrapbookingpremiere.com.au to still be in the running. We will give you until midnight this Wednesday 9th of Dec to get them emailed to us.

Theme: A Christmas Tradition

Colours: Use the colours Red & Blue on the Layout (Can also incorporate other colours)

Technique: Stamping On the Photo and On the Title

Product: Use some Felt on the Layout and Handstitching.

• A Liquid/ Gel or PVA Glue (eg Power Pritt Gel etc)
• Art Glitter Designer Glue
• Sanding Block/ Paper
• An Awl (Paper Piercer/ Pricker)

• Splat Mat (Heat Resistant Splat Mat)
• Brayer (Like a rubber rolling pin with a handle)
• Tweezers (A Long Handled pair to hold hot things when using the heat gun)
• Craft Pliers (To manipulate wire – round tip jewellery ones work well) )

• Single Page Layout in Rusty Orange, Cream & Black Colours. Photo Space - Suits – 2x - 6” x4” Landscape photos or 1 x – 5” x 7” or 1 x - 6” x 8” Portrait photo.

Challenge Pack – Double Page Layout Competition –

• Create a double page layout from this pack and enter the competition for your chance to win!
Pack contains Brown, Green, Blue & White colours and has little owls on the patterned paper.
Bring however many photos you will be able to fit on a double layout.

Mystery Project – Off the Page item –

Don’t Forget about the Mystery Project as well, This will be an off the page item and would make a great Christmas present for the Grandparents or to keep for yourself etc..
Colours will be neutral tones ( Browns, Creams, & Greens etc, etc)
You need 1 photo to fit in a 3” x 3” square space in Sepia Tones or Black and White, do not cut your photo down until the retreat . A family photo would suit best.

Here is the final product from the Glitter Masking Speciality Class!! This was a very successful class that was enjoyed by all who attended!

Sneak Peek - Speciality Class - Sunday 25th October 2009

Sneak Peek - Speciality Class - Glitter Masking:

Here is the Sneak Peak for this weekends speciality class, sorry for the delay this month with holidays and waiting on stock it has taken a bit longer to get everything together this class.
I am sure it will be worth the wait though. We bring you another exciting class jam packed with more new techniques and gorgeous products to play with!

A versitile layout using masking techniques including how to make your own masks and also how to make your own glitter letters and embellishments.
Colours used are Browns, Blues, Cream and Yellows. Title of the Layout used here is "Time Flies"
Will suit masculine, heritage or family or even outdoor photos most any thing really.

What to Bring:
2x - 6"x 4" portrait photos (will also suit sepia photos)
1x - 3" x 4" photos (can be cut down from a 6x4)
Foam Tape
Double Sided Tape
Fine tip Glue pen (or similar) for fine letters etc
Tweezers to use with the small alpha stickers (is very handy)
Edge Distresser
Paper Trimmer
Brown Pen

You can bring the following if you have them to save waiting also:
Brown Stazon Ink
Ranger Distress Ink (Vintage Photo or a brown)

PINK Crop 23rd October

Hi Everyone,

This Friday Nights Crop will be PINK in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Come dressed wearing something PINK and enjoy a good night of fun and scrappin' for a good cause. $5 from every booking will be donated to Breast Cancer as well there will be a raffle with all proceeds going also to this cause. Bookings are essential so email or phone Sandra.

October Class Calendar - 2009

Here is the October Calendar, sorry for the delay. It has come to our attention that our email updates have not been reaching everyone on our mailout list. We are looking to rectify this matter ASAP, in the meantime if you have not been recieving our regular updates and would like to please send an email to sandra@scrapbookingpremiere.com.au
There has been lots happening at Scrapbooking Premiere and we are still in the process of setting up lots more.
We hope everyone has had a lovely school break and are now well and truly back in the swing of things. Don't forget to book your spot at the retreat early to avoid disappointment. Places are filling up fast! The Retreat promises to be a fun filled weekend with lots of goodies and surpises in store for everyone!

There is always new stock arriving in store to check out too, The Prima Flowers that have just arrived are to die for. Also in are new Fiskers Border Punches, there are some lovely designs that create pretty lace and scalloped borders etc. and more eg... Basic Grey, Pink Paislee, Sassafrass Lass just to name a few!

We would like to Congratulate Simone Talbot on the safe arival of her Baby Boy Max Jackson Reynolds. On Tue the 13th of Ocotober!! Congratulations to Simone and her family!
